Resolution independent 2D graphics engine
FAQ

What exactly does 'Resolution Independent' mean?

Resolution independence means that applications are completely scalable, allowing them to adapt automatically to the users screen size. Modern graphics cards allow anti-aliased image scaling to be preformed with next to no performance hit, meaning that graphics will look sharp at any resolution, so long as the sprites have a high enough resolution, and are anti-aliased.

Will Quad-Ren ever support SVG?

Quite likely, SVG support is one of the things on my to-do list.

Why doesn't Quad-ren support colour key transparency?

Colour key transparency is a technique which was introduced because computers of the time could not handle alpha transparency in real time. This is no longer the case, use alpha transparency instead.

Does Quad-ren run on Microsoft Windows?

As of version 0.5, no.
